Kare Ayam Bumbu Bali (Balinese Chicken Curry)

A mild and tasty coconut curry chicken dish that can be found everywhere in Bali.

  1. Cut chicken breast into small pieces. Then marinade with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat oil into the pan and fry the chicken until white colour.
  3. Heat bumbu bali in the pan. Once the fragrance becomes stronger, add the cooked chicken, stock, chopped tomato, kaffir lime leaves, bay leaves, lemongrass, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Add coconut milk and keep on a lower temperature for 2 minutes.
